Has a back hand made leather strap and new shark mesh fat and thin bars. I WILL TRY MY BEST TO HELP YOU WITH ANYTHING YOU NEED to know just ask. If you you want a one off Seiko Tuna Sumo look mod dial then you would find hard to get a better one. I have more photos please ask if you need them please ask. The history of the Seiko based TST. I was able to repair or gather most of the parts I needed but I could not find a chapter ring anywhere in the known WIS world. I also found it extremely. Difficult to find OEM Tuna vi. Ntage parts which was really frustrating. While doing the restore I was measuring the case etc just to see what would and. Fit with interesting results but due to the relative rarity of the 7549 I didn't really want to start modding an original. So I started looking at other Seiko cases (diver) that I could perhaps customise in the image of the Tuna, the first case b. 7040 and after comparing sizes etc this became the start of the TST mod. Over time and after numerous checks I decided it would work and set about designing holding fixtures, deciding on machining methods and obtaining the tools and machines needed for this project, if I had been intent on just producing one for myself I wouldent have needed all the tooling and fixtures I now have but with having a engineering background I decided I wanted to do it "right" from the beginning. The main machines I started off with were a SIEG Super C3 lathe and a SIEG Super X2P mill. I still have the mill but the lathe even though it did some good work was not really up to the job. I have now replaced the lathe with a Myford Super 7, old but real nice quality.

All the machines I use are manual which makes for the production being very labour intensive. Crown, I modify a standard crown (70W22NS) by turning it down and then making an adapter that is press fitted over the modified original crown at extra cost. A TST is basically a standard. Can anyone have a TST? If i have a shroud can I just have my case machined/profiled?

Yes shrouds are available separately and I will just machine your case if that's what you want. Much more info on the TST TIGER WEB SITE that is not me i just got hold of a lot of John's watches as he was down downsizing.

Thanks very much for looking i have 7 others coming on soon as well all tuna case mods all are fabulous.
