The type is a 420 Bubbleback. The piece is unlabelled old stock in used condition. This item was produced years before Rolex had Certificates of Authenticity, hence it does not have one. I and any other master watchmaker can tell it is authentic. It had been in my collection for years before the first counterfeit watch parts. This item is suitable for a watchmaker who wants to restore it, who is servicing a matching Rolex watch, who cannot source a replacement new part or who may not wish to pay a greater cost elsewhere.
